Recently, stationed at the bar at Locanda, London has been planning some major goals while pulling shifts at the hotspot. After, four years of being a top chef at Ubuntu and the restaurant currently taking a sabbatical, he felt that opportunity presented itself. So London took his culinary expertise to an undisclosed space within the city in hopes to open his very own restaurant. The deal has not been finalized yet, but if all goes well, a build-out is required, so further plans are under wraps.

Despite, his departure from Ubuntu, the Michelin-starred chef and a James Beard nominee left on good terms, and hopes in the near future to use the Ubuntu garden for his produce, since the garden can support two restaurants now.

As for now, Sandy Lawrence, the owner of Ubuntu hasn’t mentioned or confirmed the reopening and future plans of Ubuntu, but says that we can expect to hear news soon and as for Aaron London, in the meantime, working at the bar has allowed him to learn more and more about amaros, cocktails and much more.
