Teach Me How To Uggie: Pooch’s Sharp Chopard Bow Tie to Be Auctioned After the Oscars

All dogs go to heaven but only one went to the Oscars this year.  Uggie, the charming dog from “The Artist,” came fashionably late to the Oscars not appearing on the red carpet-what a rock star- but coming to the podium once “The Artist” won the Oscar for the best picture.  Looking stunning as usual, Uggie donned a black bow tie and a dashing smile, outshining his co-stars in the process.

Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artist Director of the luxury watch company, Chopard, designed two one-of-a-kind collars for the Jack Russell Terrier at this years Academy Awards.  The first was worn at The Weinstein Company pre-Oscar party on Feb. 25 and the second at the Oscars on Feb. 26 in Los Angeles.

The handcrafted 18k gold and satin bow-tie bearing Uggie’s name will be auctioned off and all proceeds will benefit the Amanda Foundation.
