Two weeks after he declared he would run for Russia’s top office, billionaire metal tycoon Mikhail Prokhorov flew off to the French Alps.

So what, you say? It’s significant because many believe Prokhorov’s bid for Prime Minister is phony. But the owner of the New Jersey Nets’ supporters scoured Russia for the 2 million signatures needed for adding his name to the presidential ballot while he landed by Helicopter in Courchevel and tasted fare from famed Flemish chef Wout Bru.
