New York Fashion Week: Brandon Sun Uses Signature Fur Accessories for Fall

News | February 17, 2012

Brandon Sun presented a fierce collection for fall during New York Fashion Week, aptly named “Silent Assassins.” Using his signature fur accessories, he created layered looks inspired by sword wielding heroines.

The presentation—held in the Box at Lincoln Center—featured tunics layered over maxi skirts with fur scarves and cashmere sweaters with fur trim. The subdued color palette was replicated with the nail design, created by Alisha Botero for Red Door Spas. Using gray tones, she created an exclusive color that looked like a cloudy sky.

The hair was equally as fierce as the clothes. Zahir Ziani and Nate Huddleson—also for Red Door Spas—looped the hair through metal rings to create updos with volume. For the makeup, Lindsay Ebbin and Eunice Martinez used a neutral palette and foundation on the lips, allowing the clothes and fur to speak for themselves.
