Monika Jakisic’s Blog: Laila Ali and Lane Bryant Event
On Thursday February 9, Lane Bryant, a leading fashion retailer, Laila Ali, one of the world’s most recognizable female athletes has teamed up with California-based women’s activewear and bodywear company Marika to launch new exclusive line of plus size sports bras at the Culver City store location. Ali was on hand to mix and mingle with guests, sign autographs and share her professional tips on the importance of finding the right sports bra for any figure.
Guests had the opportunity to shop the new collection and get a personal bra fitting and consultation by Linda Lewis, Lane Bryant’s Senior Buyer, Cacique. Refreshments from The Smoothie Bar were provided throughout the evening and everyone received 30 percent off their purchase.
