Haute Event: The Ami James Pop-Up Tattoo Lounge
Yesterday afternoon, celebs came out in full support of The Ami James Pop-Up Tattoo Lounge at The Empire Hotel for the Kick-Off of Fashion Week. Sponsored by POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice, notables like Adrienne Bailon, Julissa Bermudez, Jay Pharoah, Nigel Barker, DJ Whoo Kid, John Forte, Knicks’ players Renaldo Balkman and Iman Shupert and Neon Hitch sipped signature POM drinks while checking out pieces from Ami’s clothing line, Ami James Ink.
NYC’s Macao was on hand, serving their signature Matahari, made with POM Wonderful Original Pomegranate Juice. As guests enjoyed the music from guest DJ Cory Kennedy, some of the celebs got in on the tattooing including Fugees John Forte and DJ Whoo Kid even let Ami ink him with a little “Bieber Fever”.
