For the past fourteen years, Chef Daniel Boulud has marked the milestones of his world-renowned restaurants with charitable actions. Upcoming is his annual spring benefit for Citymeals-on-Wheels–to coincide with his joyeux anniversary. Boulud will personally host the Mar. 25 intimate Sunday gathering heralded as “the gourmand event of the season.”
150 friends of Daniel Boulud and Citymeals will gather at DANIEL to raise funds and experience an exquisite feast. This year’s guest chef cooking alongside Boulud will be Alain Solivérès, of the legendary Taillevent restaurant in Paris. The event will feature a silent auction of rare wine and other unique packages, as well as a live auction boasting offerings from one-of-a-kind travel and dining destinations.
Last year’s gala–raiseing over $728,000 for Citymeals – enough to provide more than 113,300 meals to homebound, aged New Yorkers.
