Haute Eats: The Taco Shop At Underdogs

You know that craving you want when you want something crunchy and spicy and there is not one taco truck in sight? Well, to hell with the taco trucks, pass Taco’s Bell border and head to The Taco Shop at Underdogs.

Yes, there is plenty of seating, but if you aren’t a regular at this spot, then you won’t know the good days to be an early bird. Most of the time, one can snag an open bar stool and their impeccable bar staff will have a cold one ready for you in no time. Their fresh, not open jar, salsa can be scooped right up to you in less than three minutes.

The Nick’s Way Tacos are so good, you might fall off of that bar stool even before dipping into the Tequila. Yes, the tacos are that good! If you’re a first timer and need a couple of hints on what to devour, try the infamous Carnitas Taco or the Street Style Tacos, which you can order up on Taco Tuesdays for $2 each, along with a chilled on ice Tecate and shot of Four Roses $6. And don’t you worry vegetarians, Taco Shop definitely has special treats for you on their menu so don’t pass it up!

The selections are mouth watering and their delicious temptations are what makes this spot one of the best in the city.
