French Blue To Open in St. Helena

News | February 28, 2012

French Blue Restaurant in St. Helena, CA is due to open in May 2012. It will feature outdoor and indoor seating, a communal table in the center, a large open kitchen with wood burning oven and grill, and two fireplaces.

The restaurant comes with a lot of esteem. French Blue, located in the heart of Napa Valley, is being brought alive by world-renowned architect Howard Backen, who was recently named one of Architectural Digest’s 100 Designers. His wife, Interior Designer Lori Backen, is behind the warmly wine-country interior design of the restaurant.

The restaurant’s menu will have luxurious wines from vintner Leslie Rudd, who also owns Press restaurant, local craft beers, seasonal cocktails and outstanding, fresh cuisine by Executive Chef Philip Wang. Chef Philip will at large use the most talented of local ingredients and prepare nearly everything from scratch, at his own hands – everything down to the honey and jams.
