Audemars Piguet Global Brand Ambassador LeBron James Makes Appearance at Celine Dion Concert to Benefit Miami’s Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute

News | February 17, 2012

As the official timekeeper for Baptist Hospital and Audemars Piguet President and CEO Francois-Henry Bennahmias joined NBA great and AP brand ambassador LeBron James and legendary vocalist Celine Dion for an event benefitting the Baptist Cardiac & Vascular Institute.

Dion donated a sold-out, private concert to the Institute, held at the Fillmore Miami Beach. The cause hits close to home for Dion, whose husband René Angélil was treated at the Institute. Following the performance was a private dinner, where Dion and Bennahmias auctioned off an 18k white gold and baguette diamond Jules Audemars Chronograph Tourbillon watch.

James made his own contribution to the auction with two floor seats to a Miami Heat/Boston Celtics game. With this and several other packages, the auction brought in nearly $500,000 in proceeds.
