San Francisco will host the 21st Annual Zinfandel Festival on Jan. 26 to 28. More than 250 wineries will attend the event, and participants will be able to taste barrel samples and new releases, attend education seminars and culinary demos and indulge in decadent food pairings.
Lineup of events:
Thursday, January 26, 2012: “Epicuria: Food & Zin Pairings”
50 Zins with amazing treats from top chefs.
Friday, January 27, 2012: “Flights! Forums of Flavor” guides you through Zinfandel flights during an in-depth seminar and tasting.
Friday, January 27, 2012: “Winemakers’ Dinner: Viva Las Vegas” a Vegas-style evening with a gourmet dinner and benefit auction with winemakers. Proceeds benefit ZAP programs, education and Heritage Projects.
Saturday, January 28, 2012: “Grand Tasting: From A to Zin” features barrel samples, new release and other specials from more that 250 wineries. Meet winemakers from different regions in the most comprehensive collection of Zins in the world.
