‘This Is Not A Pop-up” Back To Southbank Centre

News | January 9, 2012

The Southbank Centre tried their hand at the popup trend back in September with a concession in the Hayward Gallery shop called “This Is Not A Pop-up.”

It aimed to shed light on designers, funky events and encourage people to part with their cash for beautiful items.

Well, This Is Not A Pop-up is a back again. It’s being run by NoBrow, a publishing company and design organization. The books will be sexily illustrated and include limited editions in the form of comics and graphic novels.

NoBrow will also feature china mugs and leather iPad and iPhone cases. Fans can meet Belgian artist and illustrator Sam Vanallemeersch Jan. 14 between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Two artists will collaborate Jan. 10 through 14, and Liam Barrett will head a family-friendly Monster Puppet Workshop Jan. 21.

The Hayward Gallery Shop is open every day between 12 and 6 p.m.
