The Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala was a star-studded occasion, bringing film industry luminaries together for a memorable night of awards, fanfare and film.

Presented by Cartier, the Jan. 7 gala was held at the Palm Springs Convention Center and hosted by Mary Hart. Now in its 23rd year, the Gala was sponsored by Mercedes-Benz and Entertainment Tonight, and was held in honor of industry pioneers Jessica Chastain (recipient of The Spotlight Award); George Clooney (Chairman’s Award); Glenn Close (Career Achievement Award); Michel Hazanavicius (Sonny Bono Visionary Award); Gary Oldman (International Star Award); Brad Pitt (Desert Palm Achievement Award Actor); Howard Shore (Frederick Loewe Award for Film Composing); Michelle Williams (Desert Palm Achievement Award Actress); Stephen Daldry (Director of the Year); and Charlize Theron, Patton Oswalt, Diablo Cody and Jason Reitman (who shared the Vanguard Award for Creative Ensemble).

Hollywood’s leading ladies were bedecked in Cartier jewels, including actress Olivia Wilde, who sported the brand’s white gold and pave diamond panther ring and bracelet and black onyx and pave diamond love bracelet. Cartier’s Tank Solo watch was presented to female honorees, while male honorees received Cartier Ronde Solo watches. Presenters were gifted with Cartier envelope decor cufflinks and Trinity necklaces.
