Alejandro Ortiz, Anièce Meinhold and Cesar Zapata of Phuc Yea are gearing up for a mid-January opening of Miami’s The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions, also known as The Fed.

The gastro pub and modern American tavern will be serving a wide variety of hearty dishes, divided into categories such as “Bits,” “Cured Meats N’ Cheese,” “Big’Uns,” “Pot Pies,” “Bliss” and “Artisan Farmstead Cheeses.”

If you’re looking for a filling snack, try one of The Fed’s “Bits,” which includes items such as Buffalo Style Pig Wings (blue-cheese mousse, pickled carrots and celery), Roasted Bone Marrow (bacon-onion, jam, parsley, apple slaw) or Townpark Fries (hand-cut, duck egg, seasonal catsups).

If you’re more of a Meat ‘N Cheese type of person, try the House-cured Pastrami-style ‘Strasburg’ Duck Liver (served with selected accompaniments) or the Hot Brown (roasted turkey, charred tomatoes, Benton bacon, mushrooms, Mornay’s sauce.)

For larger portions, try the “Big’Uns” selection of dishes such as Roasted Cornish Game Hen (cornbread-fennel sausage stuffing, seasonal compote), Federal Steak (grilled flat-iron, hand-cut fries, greens), Fisherman’s Chowder (monkfish, scallops, mussels, potatoes, corn, tomato) or the Lamb Burger (‘Dante’ sheep’s milk cheese, horse-radish mustard, chow-chow relish, pretzel bun).

If you still have room after all of that, try The Fed’s desert section which features dishes like Pecan Sticky Buns (warm, sticky, delicious), Chocolate & Bacon Cream Puffs (whiskey-caramel and fluff) or Pineapple Upside Down Cake (coconut-rum cream).

There are plenty more delicious options you’ll soon be able to sample once The Fed opens its door. To view the full menu, click here.

Once open, The Fed will initially serve dinner Monday through Thursday between 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday until 1 a.m. Eventually, they will be serving lunch on weekdays and offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Fed will be located at 5132 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami, FL 33137.
