Seminole Casino in Coconut Creek Opens Stax Poker Room

As gambling and casino legislation remains a hot-topic for Miami-Dade, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek continues its expansion with the grand opening of Stax Poker Room.
Seminole Casino Coconut Creek held a no-limit poker tournament to celebrate the opening of the Stax Poker Room as part of their $150 million expansion. Top World Poker Tour players like Jason Mercier and Huck Seed were at the event playing with other VIPs and celebrities like Season 5 Top Chef winner Hosea Rosenberg, 2010 Playboy Playmate Hope Dworaczyk and comedian Jimmy “JJ” Walker.
Ideally located near West Palm Beach, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek features a 24/7 poker room. Depending on your preference, the casino offers different styles of poker such as Texas Hold’em, 7 Card Stud and Omaha Hi Lo with betting levels starting at just $1.
In addition to the Stax Poker Room, the ongoing expansion of the casino, which is expected to be complete by February 2012, will bring a steakhouse, a deli and a yet-unnamed restaurant.
