San Francisco Ballet Opening Night Gala “Bella Notte”

January 19, 2012 marked the 79th opening-night gala of the San Francisco Ballet. The 2012 Repertory Season opened with“Bella Notte,” an elegant dinner at City Hall hosted by the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary.
Later in the evening, ENCORE!, San Francisco Ballet’s premier social and educational group for Bay Area men and women, hosted its own Opening Night Gala Reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at City Hall.
After the festivities at City Hall, SF Ballet presented a thrilling one-night-only performance at the War Memorial Opera House. Guests were then invited back to City Hall for a post-performance party, “La Dolce Vita,” with food, cocktails, and dancing.
