Obama Dines at Dom DeMarco’s

President Barack Obama stayed at the Element Hotel in Summerlin last night. He ordered 12 pizzas and some cannolis from Dom DeMarco’s Pizzeria & Bar for his staff and himself. Secret Service agents even dined at the restaurant before taking the order back to the hotel.

Obama was in Vegas to deliver a speech on domestic energy at a UPS facility in Las Vegas.

Dom DeMarco’s opened last month in Summerlin by legendary pizza maker Dom DeMarco of the award-winning Di Fara’s in Brooklyn. In addition to serving the pizza that has been an institution in New York for more than 45 years, the Summerlin location also serves a variety of other dishes, including salads, pasta, wine and 12 craft beers on tap.
