It might be freezing outside, but boating season is really just around the corner, so get ready! Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 4th, marks the commencement of the the 2012 Progressive Insurance New York Boat Show; the world’s finest and longest-running boat show, which will continue through January 8th.
The showcase takes place at the Javits Center, at 655 West 34th Street, and features luxury motor yachts, sport fishers, performance boats, fishing and water sports gear, boating clubs and vacations, marine electronics–including a vast range of high-tech gadgets like the most advanced GPS devices on the market and outdoor video equipment, and thousands of boating accessories.
Attendees can also tour boats and yachts on display–including the luxurious ‘Queen of the Show’; a Sea Ray 540 Sundancer.
