Marx Hix Opening a New Hix Restaurant in London

Owner and renowned chef Mark Hix has a line of heavily successful Hix restaurants in England and New York. Next month a new Hix restaurant, Hix Belgravia, will be open in the very new Thompson Belgraves Hotel.

Hix Belgravia will be modeled after its equivalent in New York, Hix Soho. It will have a Mark’s Bar, which won best bar at this year’s Observer Food Monthly awards in Hix Soho. The restaurant will also have a unique cigar garden decorated with art by Mat Collishaw.

Like Thompson Belgraves Hotel that will be housing the restaurant, Hix Belgravia will be designed by Tara Bernerd, the designer responsible for Aspinall’s and Cassis.

Best of all, Hix is taking his experiences and knowledge from his world travels to the kitchen. Don’t expect his signature British style, Hix warns– most of the cuisine will be a mix of worldly inspiration.
