What do you get when you mix one of the most iconic fashion designers, high fashion and a luxury aircraft? Karl Lagerfeld’s most recent Chanel fashion show.

The designer chose to host the couture show on a runway that resembled an aircraft. The seats were numbered and reminiscent of airplane seats, the entrance was the door to the cockpit and the blue carpet featured the Chanel monogram.

Lagerfeld based the entire show around the color blue, representative of the blue skies. The collection featured 60 looks, each in a different shade of blue: powder blue, electric blue, navy and royal blue, to name a few. Lagerfeld used 150 different shades of the color, in pieces ranging from evening dresses to drop-waist dresses with the look of jeans.
