Graham London recently debuted its smart and sleek  Tourbillograph Full Black. This is no ordinary tourbillon though- the racing style Full Black is an automatic one minute tourbillon developed with a powerful design and a rich technological content.

The cage is a unique  with a 42 mm opening and a see-through view. The skeleton cage includes 48 components but a weight of only 0.485 grams. Known as cintré, the construction integrates the Tourbillon into the complex chronograph movement using a large diameter balance wheel.

Developed for Graham London with Manufacture La Joux-Perret, it took four years to perfect this special timepiece and even lead to two patents. AT’s considered “shockproof” tourbillon thanks to its reduced number of components, lightness and double-bridge stable construction guarantee stability and perfect rigidity. The watches sensitively to magnetism  is also reduced through the use of iron free components in the Tourbillon cage. The calibre  G1780 is equipped with a high quality chronometric escapement beating at 28’800 A.
