Glen Senk Named New CEO of David Yurman Inc.

News | January 12, 2012

After a year and a half search, David Yurman Inc. has selected Glen Senk as the new CEO. After recently stepping down as CEO of Urban Outfitters Inc., Senk’s new position in the privately held company will begin on Feb. 27 and relocate him to New York.

Senk has served on the Yurman board for more than a year and joins David and Sybil Yurman—the husband and wife founders of the jewelry and timepiece brand—with a long-standing friendship. The duo has known Senk for more than a decade and says the decision was an easy one.

Senk, who was ranked as one of Fortune Magazine’s Top 50 Businesspeople of the Year in 2010, succeeds Paul Blum, Yurman’s CEO for five years. He left the company to join Kenneth Cole Productions, leaving the position vacant until Senk was chosen to join the design company.
