Celebrated Chef Daniel Boulud presents an enticing offer for wine lovers: Tasting Tuesdays. db Bistro Moderne’s communal table can be reserved by up to 12 guests looking to be expertly wined and dined. The wine pairing will be selected Sommelier Alexander LaPratt, winner of the “Best Sommelier in America” competition, who will pair Chef Laurent Kalkotour’s seasonal four course menus with prestige wines.
LePratt’s first evening in the series tours the revered terroir of Burgundy highlighting some of his favorite producers and vineyards in the region, including timeless selections from Jean-Philippe Fichet, Domaine Georges Roumier and Domaine Perrot-Minot. The inaugural “Tasting Tuesday” will be held on Tuesday, January 24 at 7:30pm. The second dinner, to be held on February 24th, showcases the wines and cuisine of the Rhone Valley, and the final dinner on March 20th dinner will feature to the Loire Valley.
The price tag is $150 per guest and with just 12 seats per tasting, this is sure to be one hot ticket.
