Golden Globe nominees geared up for the big award show by mingling amongst one another at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) annual Award Seasons Tea Party Saturday.

Actresses, actors, filmmakers, directors, screenplay writers and anyone else nominated for a Golden Globe rubbed elbows, munched on finger treats and toasted to one another at the Four Seasons Hotel. Stars like Jean Dujardin, Sir Ben Kingsley, Evan Rachel Wood, Emily Watson, Michelle Williams, Viola Davis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Gilles Marini, Anne Heche, Octavia Spencer, Steven Spielberg and Kenneth Branagh were among the elite crowd of superstars in attendance.

Neil Stiles, BAFTA/LA chairman, made a toast in the hotel ballroom to wish “the best of British luck” to the nominees, Marini and Heche were spotted collecting their swag in the HBO Luxury Lounge and Malin Ackerman enjoyed the InStyle Beauty Lounge.

Octavia Spencer, who ended up winning the Golden Globe for her role in “The Help” commented after the BAFTA Tea Party, “You see amazing people across a crowded room, and the sense of celebrating the good things the movie business does is what it’s all about.”
