Clio Goodman’s rich history in the culinary field is about to get richer. Born into a family of cooks and previously employed by Danny Meyer’s restaurant group as well as Daniel Boulud, Ms. Goodman is about to open a sweet shop centered around an interesting, yet delicious, ingredient: pudding.
On Jan. 6, she will open the doors to Puddin’ by Clio. She will serve parfaits layered with pudding, and creative cakes with a pudding filling. Her specialties also include pudding pies–in delectable flavors such as chocolate and Key lime; trifles layered with cake; and, plain old pudding, topped with any selection of 18 sauces, crumbles, nuts and fruit.
Puddin’ by Clio, 102 St. Marks Place; (212) 477-3537.
