New AKA Hotel Coming to Beverly Hills

Hotels have been popping up everywhere in Los Angeles lately and there doesn’t seem to be a slowdown in sight. The high-end East Coast-based extended-stay brand of AKA Hotels is planning on opening a Beverly Hills hotel in the spring of 2012.

The AKA Hotel Residences is an extended-stay luxury hotel franchise that is growing in popularity among prominent world travelers. Accommodation at an extended-stay hotel provides guests with the comforts of a permanent residence with the amenities of a high-end hotel. The concept began in New York City but is quickly expanding with new hotel openings in many metropolitan cities.

There are currently four AKA hotels in New York City, with locations in Central Park, Times Square, Sutton Place and near the United Nations headquarters. AKA has additional properties in White Plains, New York, Washington, D.C., Arlington, Virginia and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

There are no details yet about the exact location of the new Los Angeles location, other than it will be somewhere in Beverly Hills. Stay tuned for more details.
