Jeddah Celebrates Reopening of Oldest Lanvin Boutique in the Middle East

News | December 24, 2011

On 22 November 2011 Lanvin celebrated the reopening of their oldest boutique in the Middle East in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The store emanated a Parisian vibe as VIP’s and press flocked to celebrate the opening and to get the first glimpse of the newly designed interior.

Artistic director Alber Elbaz revamped the store with a mix of steel shelving designed within an art deco style; the new design mirrored the decor of the brand’s Parisian flagship as well as paid tribute to the heritage of Lanvin. As the celebrations began, guests could experience the boutique’s dynamic collection of formal and casual wear in the new chic, luxurious and intimate environment while outside a French style café whisked guests to the streets of Paris.

Under the warm glow of the vintage lighting, the party congregated on the red carpet to watch the ribbon cutting to mark the store’s official opening and were then treated to a luxury set of Lanvin cufflinks to mark the special event.
