It’s Official: The Standard East Village
Hotel Chatter reports that the Cooper Square Hotel is now officially rebranded as Andre Balazs' Standard East Village.
Hotel Chatter reports that the Cooper Square Hotel is now officially reopened as Andre Balazs’ Standard East Village.
We have been aware of the pending Standard takeover since October, but it is now official. At least online. Hotel sites are showing the Cooper Square Hotel as the Standard East Village, and if you try to visit Cooper Square’s website, it redirects you to the Standard site.
As it stands, the site is boasting the hotel’s rooms, penthouse suite (pictured above), outdoor garden, free WiFi and complimentary Standard bikes. The hotel’s dining and bar offerings are expected to be revamped and revealed throughout the year, as the transformation from CSH to Standard is completed.
