Ippolita’s Haute 5 Holiday Gifts for Her
Ippolita recently stopped by her San Francisco In-Store Boutique inside Neiman Marcus and with much precision and dedication, picked out her top 5 haute gifts from her beautiful collections for this holiday season for Haute Living readers. Understandably, she loves each and every piece that she’s designed but tried to pull out the essence of what would make a perfect gift and any woman. And in no particular order, here are Ippolita’s selections with explanations.
Cascade Earrings in Mother of Pearl: Ippolita says that if you’re going to have one statement earring, this is the earring to have because even though it’s big, it’s very light making it extremely wearable. The shape happens to look great on everyone. Flattering on all face shapes and it comes in a multitude of semi-precious jewel combinations like turquoise, brown shell and Haute Living saw a vibrant lapis lazuli set in 18k yellow gold during the trunk show.
Glamazon Reef Bangle: Iconic alone or stacked with other signature natural shaped jeweled bangles, Ippolita said that her favorite is not but one, but the look of the bangles together. Ippolita has been wearing hers now for over tens years. It comes in 18k yellow gold and a version with subtle diamonds embedded into the nodes of the coral. Each piece has been hand engraved and comes matte because over time, she wanted the bracelet to develop a natural shine as the matte wears off.
Constellation Ring in Blue Topaz: Coming in a myriad of jewel color combination, Ippolita picked up a smokey london blue topaz set in sterling silver constellation ring during the trunk show because this ring she wanted something to showcase how whole stacked look could be for everday wear. The silver makes it youthful and fun but at the same time makes for a beautiful gift.
Mini Bastille Link Bracelet: Ippolita expressed how this bracelet showcases the DNA of the silver line, how it’s supposed to be a little more rock and roll. She wanted the scale of the jewelry to be different than the gold and to reflect the weight, shine and playfulness of silver. The design is classic enough to become timeless but still edgy enough to be modern.
Hand Made Chain: Ippolita expressed how this showcased the real we-arability of her jewelry. It can be worn doubled or as a single strand and goes to with everything from a black cocktail dress to a simple white button down shirt. She stated how this is something that you didn’t have to think about or worry if it went with your outfit but something you could throw on and know that it would instantly add polish.
