Idina Menzel Opens the 2011-2012 Knight Masterworks Season Pops Series
A special treat enjoyed by those who traveled from all corners of the world to Miami for Art Basel was a performance by Idina Menzel, the Tony Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter. Menzel is best known for her roles in Broadway shows Wicked and Rent, as well as the hit TV show Glee. The event opened the 2011-2012 Knight Masterworks Season Pops Series at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County inside the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall.
