News | December 27, 2011

International design talent Karim Rashid, named by TIME the “Most Famous Industrial Designer in All the Americas,” made an in-person appearance Dec 3rd for the launch of his first-ever residential design project, mybrickell. Karim signed his latest book Sketches and presented his mural of ideas for the new era of Miami’s design landscape, accompanied by visionary developer Jorge Perez. Over 200 guests wore pink in honor of Rashid’s iconic dress attire, making a colorful visual, while enjoying bites from Pizza Rustica and Chandon.

The 192-unit tower will be centrally located in the heart of Miami’s Brickell area when it breaks ground in the first quarter of 2012. The center showcases Rashid’s energetic designs to serve as an impacting vision to future residents and fans of his democratic design philosophies.

Notable attendees also included Jorge Perez, Craig Studnicky and Philip Spiegelman
