Blinged out cars are not news to this blog, but here’s something we haven’t seen before; a 1999 Chevrolet Camaro completely covered with UAE coins. Tarek Javaid spent 3,000 hours gluing 33,000 coins on the car. The reason for the project is to commemorate the 40th UAE National Day.
The car, which has been dubbed “Pride of Emirates”, may very well land Pakistani native Javaid in the Guinness Book of World Records. The car is on display in Dubai at Al Ghandi Auto. The car’s decorator hopes to donate it to the UAE government on the anniversary occasion.
