Ruinart: Official sponsor of Art Basel Miami Beach

Having sponsored last year’s Art Basel Miami Beach and Art Basel in Switzerland for the past 10 years, Ruinart, the oldest producer of champagne will again be the featured drink of choice during the week’s festivities in the Collectors Lounge as well as throughout the convention center. On December 2, those invited to artist Gideon Rubin’s rooftop party at the Dream Hotel will enjoy specialty Ruinart champagne cocktails. Continuing the ongoing partnership with Louis Vuitton, Ruinart will supply the bubbly for the Louis Vuitton art show.

Dsquared and The Webster Miami

The funky and fashionable flock to this global luxury lifestyle brand famous for its glamorous and pioneering designs for men and women. In partnership with VMAN Magazine and The Webster Miami, the brand lead by identical twin brothers, Dean and Dan Caten, will host an exclusive cocktail event at The Webster Miami on the evening of December 2, followed by a 75-person VIP dinner. Expect to find a captivating mix of fashion leaders, social innovators, celebrities, and tastemakers.

NYC’s Pop-Up Piano Pops Up On the Basel Scene

Steinway Piano Gallery and The Black Key Group along with a host committee of young, local professionals bring you the premiere of Pop-Up Pianos—a New York based project brought to Miami for the first time this Art Basel. Ten carefully selected artists will each customize a piano that will be placed in key areas of the city. From Miami Beach to Brickell, special concerts and events will celebrate the collaborative process and after Art Basel week, the pianos will be presented to Miami-Dade Public Schools with arts programs in an effort to enrich the cultural community in South Florida. Aby Rosen’s Party at The Wall

The Thursday of Art Basel is notoriously Aby’s night. Once again, Rosen and his elite group of VIP friends will find themselves at the W South Beach for a private dinner, inaugurating the hotel’s newest culinary edition, The Dutch. Those lucky enough to get through the endless velvet rope check points and iPad-armed PR girls will find themselves partying at The Wall until the sun comes up with the likes of Vito Schnabel, Alex Dellal and Stavros Niarchos for a Dom Perignon-infused after party.

The Bass Museum of Art and MAM Ball

In collaboration with Art Public, Collins Park will be transformed with unique artworks and performances by famous artists and emerging talents that will engage viewers in shocking ways. On November 30, a museum member and VIP reception will be held for artist Erwin Wurm’s exhibit Beauty Business. Not to be missed is Miami’s most elite formal affair since 1983- the MAM Ball. With celebrity hosts like Gloria Estefan, artist ambassadors and the first-ever “crash the ball” party, this fancy fete won’t disappoint posh patrons. In addition, each centerpiece will be designed by one of MAM’s featured artists, available for guests to take home at $500 each, offering a meaningful memory and piece of art from an epic evening.

Maison Martin Margiela Exhibition

Fashion favorite Maison Martin Margiela will have an off-site exhibition in the Miami Design District featuring Line 13, dedicated to objects & publications, and will also explore the Maison’s relationship with interiors.

Sagamore, The Art Hotel

Artist Will Ryman’s installation of 65th Street that has transformed New York City’s Park Avenue with larger than life roses will make a Miami debut on the beachfront of the Sagamore. On December 1 the hotel will also host the “Vogue Lounge at Art Basel,” a two-day, VIP shopping experience featuring never-before-seen contemporary art fused with cutting edge fashion by some of the world’s most reputable brands as such Alejandro Ingelmo and Eddie Borgo.

Dewar’s presents MOCA & Vanity Fair International Party

To kick off one decade of Art Basel in Miami Beach, Dewar’s Scotch Whisky will honor the dynamic “Double Act” of Ingrid Sischy and Sandra Brant, the two International Editors of the European editions of Vanity Fair magazine and celebrate 15 years of MOCA, North Miami. Dewar’s recognized dynamic duos behind some of the most fashionable, ingenious and bespoke fashions, films, innovations, art works, and concepts. Playing off the story of the Dewar’s brothers and what Dewar’s believes is worth doing (the double-ageing process); these iconic men and women have created dynamic businesses and enterprises, excelling in their fields, with the power of two. Dewar’s will host the MOCA/Vanity Fair Art Basel Miami kickoff party honoring Ingrid & Sandy on Tuesday, November 29 at MOCA Miami from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and sponsor MOCA’S upcoming exhibition, “Mark Handforth: Rolling Stop,” starting November 29.  The party will be followed by a private dinner attended by Sischy, Brant and top VIPs.
