Tom Ford’s New York Beauty Boutique
Designer Tom Ford is expanding his already impressive empire by introducing a Tom Ford Beauty Boutique, aimed at both women and men.
Believing that consumers would be surprised by the number of men who secretly wear cosmetics, Ford made a personal appearance at Bergdorf Goodman in New York last week to celebrate the opening of his in-store Tom Ford Beauty Boutique.
During a video interview with Style.com, Ford said that he expects men to use products from the collection as well as women. He said, “I know a lot of men with wives and kids you’d be surprised. I have an eye for it, so I know exactly what they’re doing.”
The beauty line is currently also available internationally in stores such as the United Kingdom’s Selfridges and Italy’s La Rinascente.
When speaking about some of his favorite items in the beauty line, Ford said “Shade & Illuminate” contouring cream helps both women and men change the architecture of their face while still looking completely natural.
