The Six Opens Second Location in Studio City

Business partners Jake King and Will Karges opened their second branch of The Six in Studio City. The unfussy American bistro serves seasonal selections from a pear salad with burrata to a slew of pizzas to steak frites and pot pie.

After minor renovations to the former Risotto space on Ventura, partners Jake King and Will Karges opened their second branch of The Six. Executive chef Sean Mindrum runs the kitchen and there is a short list of cocktails created by David Nepove, who is the Director of Mixology for Southern Wine and Spirits and National President of the Unites States Bartenders Guild. To coincide with the restaurant’s name, each category (draft beer, bottled beer, red wine, white wine, etc.) offers six options.

Designed in a similar style as the first location on Pico, The Six in Studio City features a worn-in look with a bronze-toned interior, leather seating, mercury-dipped Edison bulbs, and a tin-plated ceiling. There is also a large outdoor patio with seating for 60.

The Six is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until midnight. On the weekends you can enjoy brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
