Porsche confirmed that it is to unveil a new model at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The blogosphere is abuzz as Porsche fans speculate what model the German automaker will premier. Many seem to think is could be a Cabriolet version of the Porsche 911—originally designed by Ferdinand Porsche—and recently seen testing.
Porsche assures the public that the new model will be “boasting impressive performance and dynamic looks, exuding unadulterated driving pleasure.” Other potential models rumored to be in the works include concept models: the Cajun crossover or a revived version of existing lines like Boxster or Cayman. Porsche fans can count on seeing the North America premier of the 911 Carrera at the L.A. Auto Show, running Nov. 18-27.
