Make for Mishkin’s

News | November 19, 2011

Mishkin’s – the fifth venture from Russell Norman and Richard Beatty (the dynamic duo who brought us popular London restaurants Polpo and Spuntino) is set to open its doors in Covent Garden next week (November 25).

Inspired by New York’s Lower East Side and east London’s cafés, the new venture will combine a Jewish deli with cocktails.

Mishkin’s menu will offer Jewish comfort food – think salt beef on soda bread and beef brisket, hash and eggs – served in leather booths. Elsewhere guests will be able to sip classic gin cocktails inspired by the 1930s and 1940s, in the 12 seat bar.

Unlike its siblings, Mishkin’s will take bookings for both lunch and dinner and will open all day, seven days a week. To make a reservation (the booking line opens on Monday at 10am), call 020 7240 2078 or visit www.mishkins.co.uk.
