Holiday Festivities at The Fairmont San Francisco

This holiday season, let The Fairmont San Francisco, an exclusive member of The Haute Hotel Network delight you with its heartwarming holiday festivities.

The Fairmont San Francisco’s famous life-sized gingerbread house, will be nearly double the size of last year’s incredible two-story high display. Meticulously built with 7,500 home-baked gingerbread bricks and 1,200 pounds of royal icing, the over 20 feet high house will be adorned with 650 pounds of colorful candies and 12 gallons of chocolate.  This magical home will even feature a special room where children can write a letter to Santa.

To add to the festive spirit at  The Fairmont San Francisco , there will also be a magical 23-foot Christmas tree in the Main Lobby and the celebrated Molinari Family Nutcracker Collection with sparkling holiday décor will be on display.

To be one of the first to experience the holiday magic at The Fairmont San Francisco, you can attend the official opening of the Gingerbread House on Saturday, November 26 from 11:00am-1:00pm.  You will be able to enjoy delicious holiday refreshments, festive music  and beautiful holiday decorations in the Main Lobby.
