Haute Timepieces: Vangarde Tempo Theorie Watch

Haute Time, News | November 25, 2011

New luxury watch company Vangarde has introduced the Vangarde Tempo Theorie Watch, which boats 29 jewels and a multitude of spinning gears.

As part of the intricate mechanism, the Vangarde Tempo Theorie features a multitude of spinning gears in its case and a modern yet elaborate design. The watch features three hands, pointing out the hours, minutes and seconds, which intersect each other creating forms “like a slow-motion kaleidoscope.”

French artist Vangarde created the watch in a move to diversify his expertise at design masterpieces. The aim of the creation was to master a complicated relationship between the energy, movement and shape components of the watch.

The watch has a first of its kind movement called the ‘Caliber V1’ and features an exposed skeleton. The power reserve of the watch is stated to be 48 hours.
