Haute Event: Lil Jon Welcomes Vegas Spin-Off DJ Competition Winner at Surrender

Last night proved to be a stepping stone for DJ Innovate. He made his first move in becoming a high-profile deejay when he opened for Lil Jon at Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas. DJ Innovate, whose real name is Tim Wong, was the grand prize winner of the Vegas Spin-Off DJ competition.

The contest, sponsored by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, sought out the best up-and-coming talent and DJ Innovate spun his way to the top after competing against seven finalists on Sept. 26 at Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Among his winnings was a guest deejay appearance at Surrender.

Surrender resident deejay Lil Jon was among the panel of international celebrity judges who helped pick the grand prize winner.
