Haute 100 Update: Jennifer Lopez to Produce Live Action ‘Carmen Sandiego’ Movie
Actress, singer, and designer Jennifer Lopez is ready to take on the role of film producer. It has been reported that Lopez has teamed up with Walden Media to produce a live-action film based on the popular elementary school educational computer game “Where In the World is Carmen Sandiego?”
The film will follow the infamously elusive character on her quest to become the best thief in the world as she is hunted down by her former partner, who questions along the way whether Carmen is a villain or, in fact, a hero.
Jennifer Lopez has been keeping herself very busy over the past few months. She recently launched her own fashion and home collections, wrapped up filming on What to Expect When You’re Expecting with Cameron Diaz, returned as a judge on American Idol, and has most recently been named 2011 Woman of the Year.
