Haute 100 Update: Jennifer Lopez Named 2011 ‘Woman of the Year’

Despite facing obstacles, Jennifer Lopez soared past them with ease to reach incredible success and achievement this year. Her latest accolade is being named Glamour magazine’s 2011 Woman of the Year.

The iconic Latina powered through a highly public divorce from fellow Latin music star Marc Anthony to achieve much this year – a return judges’ spot (and hefty raise) on reality TV mega hit American Idol, the launch of her celebrated fashion and home collections, exclusive endorsement deals, a hot new album, several high-profile gigs, and more.

Being named Woman of the Year, Lopez will grace the cover of Glamour’s December issue. In it, actress Jane Fonda conducts a Q&A with the singer about her bittersweet year in the spotlight, her relationships, style, and more.
