Grand Hyatt San Francisco Unveils Renovations
Views from the Grand Hyatt San Francisco‘s 30-plus floors are spectacular — and now, thanks to a $70 million renovation project, the hotel’s interior also turns heads.
Grand Hyatt’s latest upgrades, part of a three-phase remodeling project set for 2012 completion, were unveiled during a cocktail reception late last week. Guests toured 27,000 square feet of refurbished meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom that seats up to 1,000, a tech-smart conference theater outfitted with Herman Miller ergonomic chairs, and smaller rooms named for local trees and theaters.
Top-to-bottom renovations to the property’s 659 rooms, suites, fitness center and Grand Club lounge wrapped in September. Modern furnishings in warm earth tones fill the spacious Grand Hyatt rooms, which capitalize on views of Union Square, Nob Hill and beyond. Custom-designed art and photographs featuring San Francisco’s famous landmarks impart a sense of place. Thoughtful touches, such as private concierge services in the Grand Club, and a prime location steps from shopping and downtown businesses make the hotel an impressive option for leisure and corporate guests.
Next year, the Grand Hyatt San Francisco will refresh its lobby and restaurant areas, as well.

The Grand Hyatt’s “Shop Around the Square” package bundles Union Square shopping discounts, a special menu at Burger Bar and great rates on services at La Belle Day Spas and Salons, among other amenities, this holiday season.
