Elbows Off The Table: An Evening with Anna Post

News | November 10, 2011

Courtesy of Gilt City Seattle ,  the great granddaughter of Emily Post, Anna Post, visited Seattle’s Watson & Kennedy to introduce the latest edition of Emily Post’s 18th Edition. Anna’s great grandmother was a champion of good manners and taste. Growing up, I was introduced to Mrs. Post at a young age by a family that continously stressed good manners, etiquette and class. So much so, that my grandmother sent me to the Seattle Four Seasons Hotel at the tender age of 13 for etiquette school.

About 40 young ladies and men asked Anna questions pertaining to topics such as tipping, thank you notes, and wedding etiquette. It was a first-class evening given the wonderful atmosphere and customer service provided by the Watson & Kennedy and Gilt City Seattle team.
