Two Star Island Residents Say Goodbye to Their Fabulous Home

Two high-profile residents of Star Island have to say a sad farewell to their luxurious home overlooking Biscayne Bay. This one-acre estate includes nine bedrooms, an infinity pool and a waterfront with beautiful views. Owners of this haute house are the infamous entrepreneur Claudio Osorio and his wife Amarilis. The Osorios have been dealing with bankruptcy for some time now and, in addition this property, they have been forced to put both their Colorado ski cabin and Swiss resort condo on the market.

Osorio has most recently been in the news for a recently failed venture, InnoVida Holdings, a producer of high-tech building materials. No doubt his financial situation is directly linked to his failed business venture. Osorio launched InnoVida in 2005; an international company aimed at the manufacturing of certain affordable housing materials. The company was shut down last March by a bankruptcy trustee.
