We’ve just discovered one of the best pizza places in the country and it just so happens to be located in lovely San Francisco. Tony’s, owned by Tony Gemingnani, has taken great strides towards making the best and most authentic pizza this side of the Mediterranean. Including seven different ovens, ten categories of pizza and an upstairs Pizza Academy, this place has everything to satisfy any Neapolitan nut. Gemingnani has the premier status in this business; he is the first American ever to win the title of World Champion Pizza Maker at the World Pizza Cup in Naples in 2007.

Try their New York Style pizza if you’re looking for a taste of the East Coast. If you’re in a more European mood, try the Roman pizza – the sauce is perfect. Whether you’re just passing through the area of you’re a native of this fine city, make sure to stop by Tony’s at 1570 Stockton Avenue for a fabulous culinary experience.
