Steal Their Style: Model Street Fashion at Paris Fashion Week
I love seeing designers’ new collections at Fashion Week, but I also love to see what the models wore to the shows, sometimes they look even better off the catwalk! Here are some of our favorite fall trends modeled by- who else- models!
- Hats
Hats are one of this fall’s hottest accessories! A classic black fedora (left) can add a rock-chic finish to any outfit (we’re also loving the burgundy tie blouse). Another option is to pair a floppy hat with an already-edgy look, like a denim button down and studded booties, to sweeten it up a bit.
- Leather Jackets
The classic wardrobe staple is back again this fall! Wear it to toughen up a dress and booties combo (I’m obsessed with the Camilla Skovgaard booties on the left, we haven’t been able to keep them on the shelves here at stylehaüs!) or as the perfect finishing touch when thrown over a white t-shirt and jeans!
- Pants
Fall’s hottest silhouettes are the super wide leg pant and the cropped pant- wear the wide leg pant with heels to make legs look even longer. The cropped pant is perfect for running around the city when paired with oxfords (right) or ballet flats.
- Jacket-with-a-Mini
A cute cardigan or blazer thrown over a miniskirt or dress is the perfect way to make the hemline appropriate for daytime wear (and fall’s crisp weather!) Transitioning the look from day to night is super easy too- just switch out a pair of flat ankle boots for wedges and add a pair of tights and you’re ready for a night out!
