Passport to Wines of the World At The Ritz Carlton Ft. Lauderdale

The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale’s Sommelier Don Derocher is unveiling his latest creation: Passport to Wines of the World.

Don and a pocket-size passport will guide guests through ten countries and vintages he has chosen from the award-winning 5,000-bottle Wine Vault. Guests can collect twelve passport stamps to receive a leather Ritz-Carlton wine carrier, blown-glass wine stopper and leather corkscrew case.

As for the culinary pairings, Executive Chef Christian Clair will unveil creations from the new Astrological Tastings which are offered complimentary to hotel guests every Friday and Saturday evening in the hotel’s lobby. Chef Clair creates twelve culinary tastings to for each of the 12 astrological signs and six savory and six sweet creations are designed to attract and align the celestial powers in each guest’s constellation.

Passport to Wines of the World  will then be offered every Wednesday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. with no reservation required for a special evening in the sophisticated Wine Vault and richly appointed Wine Room.
