A bunch of well-known, New York chefs are packing their bags and headed for warmer weather.  Several major NYC chefs are attending the Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival, which, in its fifth year, is expanding from a small three-hour Worth Avenue event to a larger, multi-locale four-day fest from December 9 through 13. In addition to southern stars like Michelle Bernstein, Michael Schwartz, and Ingrid Hoffman, New York super-chefs Scott Conant, John DeLucie, and David Burke will head down to cook Saturday at the Breakers, and Daniel Boulud will host a cocktail reception on Sunday at his Café Boulud and the Brazilian Court gardens. Says Boulud: “Palm Beach is an exceptional little enclave, like a mini tropical 10021 by the sea, only with better cocktail parties … Now the new Palm Beach Food and Wine Festival is putting the town on the culinary map.”
