After two years of renovation, the glamorous new property reopened last week with some amazing new features, specifically a new restaurant from celebrity-status chef Wolfgang Puck. Currently open to hotel guests only, the public will be able to feast their eyes and palates on this brand new restaurant as of November 1st. Last weekend’sLA Food & Wine Festival had a decadent Sunday brunch at this new hotspot.
Californian styling with a splash of Mediterranean sums up the design. An amazing outdoor terrace with huge, plush semi-covered banquets overlooking a garden is probably going to be the most in-demand seating in the house.David Rockwell designed the space to feel like you are dining in an immaculate mansion. The main dining room is grand. A marble fireplace and 14-seat private dining room in the back create a luxurious dining experience.
A menu has yet to be released, but the California-Mediterranean cuisine will obviously be amazing with Puck in the kitchen. From what we’ve heard of the event for LA F&W, the food was unbelievable!
- Bugatta Restaurant & Bar
Everything great must come to an end…. That being said, the historic Bungalow Club shut its doors last month and is already reopening as a new Melrose Hotspot called Bugatta!
Bugatta Restaurant & Bar just brought a sophisticated ‘cool’ to Melrose Ave.
Only a month ago, the Bungalow Club shut its doors after an impressive 10 year run. Bungalow’s owner and designer, Anat Escher, renewed this corner space and created a chic, new lounge with an opulent, Miami-esque patio. The new Melrose hotspot is much more sophisticated, and is designed to attract a more upscale crowd. It will be open Monday-Wednesday from 4PM to 11PM, Thursday from 4PM to Midnight and on weekends from 4PM to 2AM. Small bites and great cocktails are featured on the upgraded menu and come with a very reasonable price range.
Grab a chill group of friends and spend a sophisticated evening sipping martinis and snacking on filet mignon skewers at the new Bugatta on Melrose.
